Neng Bing Doh (Bing) is CEO and Founder of HealthCrowd. Bing is a pioneer in mobile messaging for healthcare, with a special interest in underserved populations. She founded HealthCrowd to reinvent healthcare communication by applying behavioral change techniques and consumer analytics mastered from her experience in the online advertising industry, to healthcare. Today, HealthCrowd is used by health plans and numerous other healthcare companies to power multimodal member communications at scale in a risk-managed way, and has emerged as a thought leader in this area. Prior to HealthCrowd, Bing was a senior executive in both business development and product functions within the digital advertising network space, responsible for leading the creation of hundreds of compelling consumer experiences. Bing started her career as a software engineer at Hewlett Packard, holds a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin - Madison, and earned an MBA from Cornell, where she was a SC Johnson Merit Scholar.
Clive Wu is the Chief Operating and Technology Officer at HealthCrowd. Clive thrives on adrenaline and performance. An avid automobile club-racer and serial technology entrepreneur, Clive is an expert in data analytics and optimization. While at Stanford, he worked under Prof. Stephen Boyd and co-authored two popular open-source convex optimization software packages. He was most recently CEO at HanuNet, a mobile media startup he co-founded while studying at Wharton. Before HanuNet, Clive co-founded Aprio Technologies (acquired) and served as CEO and CTO. Aprio provides technology that improves the performance and reduces the power-consumption of everyday mobile devices. Prior to that, Clive was Engineering VP at Numerical Technologies and was part of the management team that led the company to an initial public offering on NASDAQ. He is an inventor on 14 US/International patents. Clive holds a B.S. in EE from the National Tsing Hua University in Taiwan, an M.S. and Ph.D. in EE from Stanford University and an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
Mykel is a Partner at TVC Capital, an operator-led growth equity firm focused on investments in and acquisitions of software companies and software-enabled service firms. Mykel is passionate about helping great companies become category leaders through product innovation, sales and marketing execution, and an acute focus on exceeding customer expectations. He currently serves on the board of directors of HealthCrowd, Levels Beyond, MediaPlatform, Centage and SmartAction, and was previously CFO at Anametrix prior to the company's acquisition. Mykel received an MBA from London Business School and a BS in Business Administration from University of Richmond.
Tom Toy is a Managing Director of Startup Capital Ventures (www.startupcv.com), a Menlo Park-based venture capital firm focused on early stage information technology companies. Tom is also a Managing Director of PacRim Venture Partners (www.pacrimpartners.com) as well as a Venture Partner/Advisor for ICCP Venture Partners (www.iccpventurepartners.com). Tom has invested in early stage IT, cleantech and healthcare companies as a VC for more than twenty-five years. He has served on the boards of directors of a number of public and private companies. Tom's current and past companies include SunPower (NASDAQ: SPWR), UTStarcom (NASDAQ: UTSI), White Electronic Designs (NASDAQ: WEDC, then acquired by Microsemi), LifeCell (NASDAQ: LIFC, then acquired by Kinetic Concepts), Physiometrix (NASDAQ: PHYX; then acquired by Hospira), SyStemix (NASDAQ: STMX, then acquired by Novartis), CafePress (NASDAQ: PRSS), U-Systems (acquired by GE Healthcare), FastSoft (acquired by Akamai) and Hanwha Q CELLS (HQCL). Tom is currently on the boards of directors of several private companies. Tom graduated from Northwestern University with B.A. and MBA degrees.
